If you ask us, Canada has a pretty good system worked out for its roadways. They’re often referred to as the antithesis of European roads, with their width, their straightness, and these things called posted ‘speed limits’ (here’s lookin’ at you, Autobahn). You could even say that roads have their own intricate language, spoken through signs, alerts, warnings, lights, and perhaps most common - road lines.
In the car is where everyone and their brother thinks they can sing like Aretha. There’s something about the safety, the isolation, and the feeling of total confidence that our vehicle gives us when the perfect driving song comes through the speakers.
It’s our job to help transition our students from new drivers, into confident and safe defensive drivers that are able to read the road and all of its intricate scenarios. When we’re teaching our students how to drive, we always maintain that good awareness, spatial sense, a knowledge of basic vehicle dynamics, and consistency are key pillars to becoming a good driver.
Canadian winters are littered with inclement weather, making an easy commute to work or an enjoyable weekend country drive more like a challenge from Mother Nature. If you and your vehicle aren’t prepared for winter driving, you might find yourself sidelined on the roads or caught in sticky situations.
"A special “Thank You” to you. From what I was told, you never let my daughter put her guard down. Good for you.
I appreciate all the hard work and dedication you’ve given to my daughter. I will recommend Valley Driving School to as many people as I can.
Again, “Thank You” to everyone. Who knows…maybe my daughter will be back for other types of drivers training ie: motorcycle, standard, or even semi-trucks. Could happen. She ‘loves’ to drive.
"I just wanted to send along a “Thank You” to all of you at Valley Driving School.
This has been a great experience for both my daughter and myself.
The office staff have been wonderful and always willing and able to sort through scheduling that works for us.
It can be a scary world out there driving our streets and now I know my daughter has been taught properly on how to handle those situations.
She’s a confident relaxed driver and I am a confident relaxed passenger/parent."
"We just wanted to tell you how impressed we were with the professional and thorough instruction our children received over the last several years.
Both kids' instructors were always punctual, polite and patient, giving our kids the knowledge and confidence to drive well and safely. Both passed their 'N' test on the first try. All dealings with the office staff were pleasant as well.
We would not hesitate to recommend Valley Driving to other parents looking for the right place for their children to learn to drive. Please pass our compliments and thanks to instructor! :)

"I want to thank my great instructor and helping me overcome my fear of driving.
I have failed the test a couple of times before taking lessons with him and frankly, this is the best investment I have done lately.
He helped me become a better driver, (I will always remember: mirror-signal-shoulder check), have confidence in myself and pass my test.
Great job! Thank you!"
I had 5 lessons with my Instructor and he was incredible, clear instructions and always updated on things I needed to do better right when they happened.
It felt like he wanted me to succeed not only because its part of his job, but because he genuinely wanted me to. The cost of the lessons were minimal in comparison to everything I have learned and I passed my road test on my first attempt.
"My instructor is kind and patient.
She made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and shaped me into the N driver I am today.
Everyone at Valley Driving School is really nice and welcoming. Also, the classroom is a good learning environment.
I highly recommend this driving school. Everyone I know got lessons there. :)"
