What is The Defensive driving program?

Whether you plan to drive frequently or commute to work, our Defensive Driving Program equips both new and lesser experienced drivers with the necessary skills to be knowledgeable & confident on the road.

By educating drivers to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations, we can reduce collisions and keep our communities safe.

For over 70 years, Valley Driving School has provided the very best driving lessons and training to thousands of satisfied graduates. We’ve built our reputation in British Columbia as one of the most trusted names in driving schools, for our dedication to the principles of confidence and safety, instilled by our defensive driving techniques.

Our Defensive Driving Program combines our outstanding on-road training with our exclusive Behind The Wheel and On Your Own e-learning course, allowing students to learn and practice safe driving techniques in a variety of scenarios. This comprehensive approach makes our training more effective and efficient, which is ideal for new drivers, experienced drivers looking to brush up their skills or newcomers to British Columbia.

Our training vehicle is also available to use on your ICBC road test. Our vehicle is guaranteed to meet all road test standards so there will be no surprises on your big day! When using our car for your road test, a warm-up lesson to brush up on your driving skills prior on the same day as your ICBC road test is also included, leaving you more confident and prepared!
