Our road test preparation and car rental program includes a 60-minute warm-up lesson, a certified vehicle for your road test and test-day support – just what you need for a successful ICBC road test.
Your vehicle needs to meet all legal and safety standards prior to having an ICBC road test conducted. Valley Driving School guarantees our road test car rental vehicles meet all ICBC standards so there will be no surprises on your big day. Our vehicles are available for use whether you have a previously scheduled road test or you would like us to schedule a road test on your behalf.

- Use a similar car for your warm-up and test that you’ve used in your lessons, providing familiarity
- Our local Instructors are highly knowledgeable about ICBC test expectations and can guide you through routes and required skills, similar to those used by ICBC examiners
- Your Instructor will help with the check-in process at ICBC and remain on site with you

Steps for Success
To get a car licence in BC, you must be 16 years old, pass vision/medical screening & follow these steps:
This package is specifically designed for the rental of our vehicle. If you wish to use your own vehicle, you would only book individual lessons for preparation, not this specific package.
While many of our students do take lessons with us, you are not required to have taken prior lessons with Valley Driving School to book our Road Test Car Rental & Prep Package.
If your ICBC test is rescheduled by ICBC or due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate the new test time, subject to vehicle and Instructor availability.
GST and ICBC fees are not included in our Car Training pricing. Manuals and handouts are included with tuition.
