Driving can be a stressful experience. Heavy traffic, speeders, weather conditions, and so many other factors can have an impact on our comfort level behind the wheel. For many of us, the ultimate stress factor behind the wheel is fear of getting into an accident. While most of us have thought about what to do if it happens to us, we don’t often consider what to do if we witness an accident.
In 2017 Vancouver became North America’s first city with 10% of commuters reaching their destination by bicycle. Having more and more people choosing a two-wheeled method of transportation, inevitability means adding kilometers of cycling infrastructure. Whether it’s new bike lanes proposed on the Cambie Street Bridge in Vancouver or added along McKee Road in Abbotsford, sharing the road with cyclists is an ever-growing occurrence.
Motorcycle gear is a critical factor when it comes to riding, and adds a very necessary layer of safety every time you hit the open road. Keeping yourself safe, visible, and comfortable is every bit as important as the perfect bike.
It’s road trip season and they say that you should enjoy the journey and not just the destination, but you can’t enjoy the road trip journey without having some good snacks! We polled the staff here at Valley and put together a top ten list of all our favourites.
