The Complete Program vs The GLP Program – Which is right for you?
Choose the Complete Program if:
- You are 25 or older, and do not need a 6-month reduction on your Novice (N) licence stage
- You do not need high school graduation credits
- You want more time behind the wheel (13.5 hours)
- You prefer to skip mandatory classroom theory

- You are a high school student looking to earn 2 graduation credits
- You are under 25 years old and want to reduce your ‘N’ stage by 6 months

Adult Driving Lessons Tailored for Every Skill Level
- Learning to Drive as an Adult? Start from Zero: If you’re getting behind the wheel for the first time in your 20s, 30s, or beyond, there’s no pressure or judgment. Lessons are completely private, one-on-one, and paced to your comfort level so you can build safe habits without feeling rushed.
- Target the Skills ICBC Examiners Mark Most: Examiners look closely at observation, positioning, and speed control. Our refresher driving lessons focus specifically on common road test deduction points—such as 360° shoulder checks, right-of-way rules at complex intersections, parallel parking, and hazard perception.
- Master Highway and Freeway Skills: High-speed driving is often the most intimidating part of test prep. Dedicated highway driving lessons cover smooth merging, safe following distances, multi-lane changes, and proactive speed management so you feel completely at ease on BC freeways.

Use Our Car on Road Test day
Eliminate exam-day anxiety by taking your official road test in a car you already know. Every student has access to our road test car rental package, which includes:
- A Pre-Test Warm-Up Lesson: A focused practice session with your Instructor right before your road test to shake off nerves, review key maneuvers, and get into the zone.
- Vehicle Rental: Take your test in the exact dual-control Valley Driving School car you trained in. ICBC examiners know our fully inspected, dual-brake vehicles meet all safety standards, ensuring you never have to worry about vehicle inspection rejections or mechanical issues on test day.
- Pick Up & Drop Off: We will pick you up for your prep lesson and drop you off after celebrating a successful road test!

To get a car licence in BC, you must be 16 years old, pass vision/medical screening & follow these steps:
