Trailer Raffle
APNA has partnered with Kingpin Trailers and Hyundai Trailers to support a great local charity. This year they will be giving away a 53’ Trailer (or $20,000 cash) in support of Kids Play Foundation with the APNA Raffle. Kids Play is a non-profit organization that is “Building a Better Future for Our Youth, One Game at a Time.” Kids Play is working towards keeping youth away from the lifestyle of drugs, gangs, and violence. They provide opportunities for youth to participate in sports tournaments, conferences, and other community projects. Even if you are unable to attend the APNA Truck Show, you can still support this great group by purchasing raffle tickets online!
Industry Innovation
With technology always getting more intuitive we can expect to see some great new software, dashcams and wireless technology at this year’s show.
IHat Technologies Inc. will be in booth 223; IHat stands for Innovative Hydrogen Aspiration Technology and they are going to be sharing their vision on reducing Greenhouse Gases using the i-phi ™ Technology. Visit their booth to find out more!
Avaal will be at booth 108 showcasing some of their software and training programs for Hours of Service and Log Books, Trucking Safety and Compliance, and more. Their Trucking Dispatch Specialist training will be being held in Surrey for 4 days starting on June 17th.
Mack Trucks will be in booth 539 to show off their new Mack Anthem. This truck has been built for business with driver comfort being a focus. It features a 70” StandUp Sleeper that has 35% more room to keep the driver well rested and comfortable to remain focused while on the road. Volvo will be in booth 537 showcasing their new VNL 860 and VNL 760. With connectivity and driver comfort in mind they have introduced the first integrated, reclining bunk in the sleeper. There is also an optional new infotainment system that features a 7” touch screen with compatibility for navigation tools and other third-party applications to be installed.
