Do you offer evening or weekend lessons?
Yes! We have Instructors who are available mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, 7 days a week.
Can you pick me up for my lessons?
Yes! We offer pick up from home, work, school or any local landmarks or businesses. Whether it's the Greater Vancouver Zoo in Aldergrove, a store in the Aldergrove downtown core, or Save-On Foods near 264th and Fraser Higway, just let us know where you'd like to meet and we will coordinate with your Instructor.
Where do Aldergrove students take their ICBC road test?
Most Aldergrove students choose to test at the Abbotsford or Langley ICBC Driver Licensing Offices but we can also accommodate road test bookings in Maple Ridge and beyond. Choose the location you feel most comforatable taking your ICBC road test, and we will ensure you are prepped and ready for a successful road test. Our Valley Driving School cars are also available for use on road test day. Contact us to coordinate a reliable car for your test day.
What do I need to bring on my lessons?
All students need to have their Learner’s Licence for every lesson, every time and if you require corrective lenses, bring those as well! Dress for the elements, and wear comfortable and versatile closed-toe shoes.
Car students: For classroom sessions, it is recommended to bring lunch for full-day courses, as there are few amenities within walking distance. We will provide all course materials and supplies.
Truck students: Truck students can bring their own hi-vis vest or clothing or a vest can be supplied. Students should wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty and will protect against the elements. Training can take place outside and involve climbing under the vehicle and getting your hands dirty (gloves can also be useful). Please wear comfortable and versatile closed-toe shoes - steel-toe boots are not recommended.
For classroom sessions there will be a lunch break so there is time to leave the office or feel free to bring a lunch. We will provide all course materials and supplies.
Motorcycle students: Full coverage helmets are required. Courses run rain or shine so students should be prepared for the elements with a closed toe, above- ankle boots or shoes. Steel-toes are not recommended, as it is difficult to feel the gears shift. We recommend weargin thick, full coverage clothing (long sleeves and pants). Water resistant clothing is highly recommended and layering will help you stay warm and dry. Gloves are required - leather gloves are highly recommended.
What do I need to bring on road test day?
On ICBC road test day, you must bring your driver's licence, two pieces of acceptable ID, payment for the road test, and a safe, insured, and roadworthy vehicle with valid registration.
