Valley Driving School offers personalized, 90-minute car training lessons in the Fraser Valley & Lower Mainland of BC tailored to your experience and confidence level. Our individual driving lessons are designed for maximum impact!
Each on-road session is 90-minutes of one-on-one time with an experienced Instructor and is entirely customized to your specific needs and goals. This flexibility means you decide what you want to focus on, and your Instructor will tailor the route and coaching accordingly.

What to Expect ON Your Lesson
From the moment your Instructor picks you up to the final feedback session, you can expect a structured yet flexible approach to help you become a confident and knowledgeable driver.
Your training session includes:
- Summary report card emailed to you outlining your progress on the skills/maneuver covered and areas to focus when practicing with your qualified supervisor
- Instructor picking you up from work, home, school or a designated meeting spot in a clean, ICBC approved Toyota Corolla
- A brief discussion about your current skills and goals for the training session
- Customized, one-on-one 90 minute training session conducted through various traffic scenarios & conditions
- A short debrief at the end of the session with recommendations and feedback for ongoing skill development

Steps for Success
To get a car licence in BC, you must be 16 years old, pass vision/medical screening & follow these steps:
Instructor Quality
You’ll be learning from the best! All Valley Driving School Instructors are ICBC certified and bring over 70 years of combined local experience to the road. They are specially trained in supporting nervous, anxious, and first-time drivers, ensuring a comfortable and encouraging learning environment.
We provide ongoing training to our Instructors, which means they are always improving their skills and techniques, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest road rules and regulatory changes.

You can! We have a variety of Instructors working across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. If the Instructor you want doesn’t typically service your area, we’ll do our best to work with you and find a meeting location to accommodate your request. While we strive to accommodate requests, Instructor availability may vary and we recommend booking in advance to increase your chances of training with a specific Instructor.
The driving route will be customized based on your goals. We can practice in residential areas, on highways, or in areas similar to what you might experience during the ICBC road test.
Yes, you must hold a valid class 7 learner’s licence, class 7 novice licence, or full privilege class 5 licence to schedule and participate in driver training.
GST and ICBC fees are not included in our Car Training pricing. Manuals and handouts are included with tuition.
